In the book of Exodus, Moses was called to proclaim the unity of God to his entire people. Join us this weekend as we discover, like the children of Israel, the unique “oneness” that we are called to as followers of the God of Israel. Week 3 of four in the Exodus series. [MP3] [Digging Deeper]
We may know it by different terms–griping, grumbling, whining or belly-aching. God’s Word refers to it as “murmuring” and apparently the Israelites were doing quite a lot of it. This week our Exodus adventure reveals God’s take on all that grumbling and complaining. We’ll definitely want to learn from their story to avoid similar consequences. [MP3] [Digging Deeper]
Join Pastor Mike for a 4-week sermon series that rockets us into an Old Testament extreme adventure. We’ll learn how the God of the universe embraced a community of slaves as His people, sent them on an incredible wilderness journey, and through an extraordinary process changed their identity, priorities, and understanding of a Holy God. Discover just what this Old Testament adventure has to do with your life adventure today. [MP3] [Digging Deeper]
Remember the story of Moses? His mother (Jochebed) put the baby Moses in a basket and placed him in the Nile River where Pharaoh’s daughter later found him. Why did Jochebed do this? And what series of “God-appointments” conspired to help turn Moses into a leader used by God to set an entire nation free from slavery? You’ll want to get the full scoop this weekend as Pastor Mike wraps up the “Helpmates, Harlots & Heroines” series. [MP3] [Digging Deeper]
